Professional Experience

  • Manages the daily organizational performance and oversees that quality assurance, accountability and compliance monitoring requirements on over $40,000,000 in State of Florida funded contracts.
  • Supervises and coordinates activities performed by the Contract Auditing Team including development of contract related documents, operating policies and procedures; training and technical assistance; monitoring, quality assurance activities and provider readiness assessments; development of administrative rules; development of procurement instruments; and negotiation and construction of contractual agreements.
  • Manages the performance and quality service provision of 4 staff persons located in decentralized regions across the State of Florida.
  • Oversees and conducts the execution of onsite reviews of management structure, operations, systems of internal control, policies and procedures and relevant laws, and recommend programmatic and operational enhancements.
  • Coordinates the planning, development and implementation of quality improvement plans for contracted vendors located statewide.
  • Develops and recommends decisive actions plans on non-compliant contractors and implement enforcement strategies to ensure compliance with fiscal, programmatic and operational contract requirements.
  • Provides programmatic and administrative technical assistance, training, and support to public and private institutions, non-profit entities, community-based organizations serving youth, families, and underprivileged communities.
  • Develops executive-level reports, policy briefs, policies and procedures documents, fact sheets, and other communications relevant to project specific issues.
  • Maintains relationships with local, state and federal agencies, elected officials (i.e., Executive, Legislative and Judicial), legislative and agency staff, and related professional associations and organizations.

NoteActive is enterprise software that provides a multi-function digital accountability and risk management platform for organizations to document general activities, events, incidents and occurrences to be captured digitally. This solution replaces paper documentation practices and aids organizations in proactively managing their work environment from antiquated paper-based forms, documents and logbooks and converts them to all digital and electronic workflow platforms.
